Morning Matins and Prayer
As part of our daily expression of faith, our Eagle community comes together for morning matins – a time to begin our day united in prayer. We start with God's word, sing hymns, and celebrate birthdays, baptismal birthdays, as well as academic and athletic achievements. We bookend each day in prayer, opening and closing our time together in the spirit of faith and gratitude.
Chapel
OSL's weekly chapel service is a vital part of campus life for the scholars, faculty, and staff. As a classical Lutheran school, we gather in the church sanctuary to receive gifts of God, forgiveness of sins, life, and salvation through His Word.
Although we enjoy a diverse student body, chapel anchors and binds our entire community together in a way in which only the Word of God can. Weekly chapel is fundamental to our scholars' moral and spiritual foundation and reinforces the daily instruction in God's Word in their classes.

Wednesday Mornings
Our chapel services are open to all in our school and church community, and we invite and encourage parents and families to attend chapel services with their child as often as they can.
