Our Savior Lutheran School has many opportunities for parents to share their gifts and talents for the students of our school.

Parent Teacher League (PTL)

We encourage each school family to join our PTL.  PTL membership is $10 per family per school year.  Our PTL benefits students and Our Savior Lutheran School.  Each year the PTL has two main fundraisers:

• Oktoberfest each fall
• Golf Tournament each spring

Proceeds from these events go directly to purchase school equipment and enrichment materials for our school.  In recent years, money raised through these events led to the following purchases:

• New school bus
• Playground equipment for all three of our playgrounds
• Smart boards for the classrooms
• Laptop computers for all teachers
• Television and video equipment for all classrooms
• New cafeteria tables
• New stages for Drama department
• Power school software

The PTL also sponsors a book fair every February with proceeds going directly to the school library, Science & History Fairs each March, Talent show each April, and the Teacher appreciation dinner each May.

We also have the following volunteer opportunities:

Room Parent

Assist with planning classroom parties and class booth and craft projects for Oktoberfest.

School Library

Our school library is an all volunteer effort.  We ask for parents' assistance during those times when classes will be visiting the library, checking out and refilling books.

Booster Club

Members of our booster club assist with the ticket and food sales at athletic games and tournaments hosted by OSL.

S.I.P. (Simply In Prayer)

We invite parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, anyone who loves children, to join us any Tuesday throughout the school year from 8:15-9:00 a.m. in the West Room of the church sanctuary for a time of discussions and prayer.  Childcare will be provided.  Your prayer requests are always welcomed.
